While google-fishing for new outdoors related blogs, I came across http://adventureblog.visitscotland.com/. It looks like a joint venture between the tourist authority VisitScotland and various adventure sports companies who contribute blog pieces under four main categories Land, Water, Snow, Air. It’s worth a look as there are some interesting posts, particularly for me the sea kayaking ones by Tim Pickering of Canoe Hebrides.
And on the subject of sea kayaking – if you ever want to fruitfully waste some time (go on, it’s Friday afternoon), go to http://www.clearwaterpaddling.com/ and have a browse through the gallery.
And while I’m suggesting random links, have a look at Fast & Light’s ‘About’ page / manifesto, which put a smile on my face. :p
F&L’s about page ties in quite nicely with a thread on OM just now. People embracing the Internet instead of blaming it for the end of life as they know it.
